East Honors football graduates

On Friday, February 28, three of Downingtown High School East's former students returned to be honored for their achievements. Pat Devlin, Kyle Lauletta and Tyler Kroft all have gone on to play in professional football for the NFL. They were recognized with framed uniforms that will hang in the school gym

 

Pat Devlin

  • During his high school career, Pat set the Pennsylvania career record for passing yards with 8,162. (has since been broken)

Post-secondary: (2) years (2006-2008) at Penn State University, (2) years (2009-2011) at University of Delaware


Professional Career: Signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Miami Dolphins in July of 2011

 

Kyle Lauletta

High School: 2013 Downingtown East Graduate


Post-secondary: University of Richmond 2013-2017

  • Threw for a school record 10,465 passing yards and 73 touchdowns
  • Selected to the 2018 Senior Bowl and was named the Most Valuable Player

Professional Career:

  • 4th round, 108th overall pick by the New York Giants
  • Currently a member of the Philadelphia Eagles as a reserve player

 

Tyler Kroft

High School: 2011 Downingtown East Graduate


Post-secondary: Rutgers University


Professional Career:

  • 3rd round, 85th overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2015 NFL Draft (2015-2018)
  • Currently a member of the Buffalo Bills (signed 3 year deal in 2019)
