DHS East Masterworks Choir to perform at Carnegie Hall

The Downingtown East Masterworks Choir was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Sunday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m. as part of the National Youth Choir.  We earned this invitation by receiving a gold rating in competition two years ago at the WorldStrides Heritage Competition in Nashville, TN.  We will be working with top-rate choral clinician, Christopher Aspaas. The students will be there in the city for 4 days (3 nights) in order to rehearse with Dr. Aspaas and the other National Youth Choir students before their performance in Carnegie Hall (which family and friends can buy tickets to come see).  While there, the students will also have the opportunity to see the Broadway show- Aladdin and tour the 9/11 Museum.  Tickets for the National Youth Choir performance will be on sale via this link:
