Downingtown Area School District (DASD) is proud to announce that all three of its high schools have been ranked in the top 10% of high schools in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report.
Both Downingtown High School East and Downingtown High School West have demonstrated significant improvement in their rankings this year. Meanwhile, Downingtown STEM Academy continues to excel, maintaining its position as the #2 ranked high school in the entire state.
The U.S. News & World Report rankings are determined by a comprehensive evaluation framework which includes key performance indicators such as college readiness, college curriculum breadth, math and reading proficiency, math and reading performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rates.
The success of Downingtown’s high schools is reflective of DASD’s strategic focus on fostering educational environments that not only prepare students to excel academically but also equip them with the necessary skills for future success.
