Downingtown Area School District (DASD) is proud to announce that all three of its high schools have been ranked among the top 100 high schools in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report.
Downingtown High School East and Downingtown High School West ranked No. 55 and No. 89 in Pennsylvania. Downingtown STEM Academy ranked No. 2 in Pennsylvania and No. 19 in the nation.
According to U.S. News & World Report, the highest-ranked public high schools are those whose students perform above expectations on state assessments in mathematics, reading and science. The rankings also consider students’ performance on college-level examinations and school graduation rates.
The achievements of Downingtown’s high schools reflect DASD’s continued commitment to creating educational environments where students can excel academically, develop essential skills and prepare for success beyond graduation.
