Four DASD teachers named Citadel Heart of Learning Award Winners

• Linda Farren – 3rd Grade Teacher at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School
• Michael Podlesney – Science Teacher at Downingtown STEM Academy
• Christy Marshall-Silva – Reading Specialist at @Marsh Creek Sixth Grade Center
• Kristopher Stevenson – 4th Grade Teacher at Springton Manor Elementary School

Each year, Citadel receives thousands of nominations to honor local teachers with the nationally recognized Citadel Heart of Learning Award. Over the past two weeks, Ms. Farren, Mr. Podlesney, Ms. Marshall-Silva and Mr. Stevenson were honored for their dedication and commitment with surprise recognition ceremonies led by their students, family, colleagues and representatives from Citadel Credit Union.
