We are proud to announce that Anne Fisher, a dedicated teacher at Downingtown Middle School, has been named one of the 12 finalists for the prestigious 2025 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Award. Out of 660 nominations statewide, Anne's exceptional teaching practices and commitment to excellence have earned her this recognition.

The Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year program, co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania chapter of the National State Teacher of the Year, celebrates educators who inspire their students and positively impact their communities. Anne's passion for teaching and dedication to her students exemplify the qualities this award seeks to honor.
