The Downingtown Middle School MATHCOUNTS team showcased their mathematical skills and teamwork at the Chester County MATHCOUNTS Chapter Competition on February 22, 2025, bringing home the overall championship and earning 1st place as a team!
Several students stood out for their exceptional individual performances:
- Shawn Ruan earned 1st place in both the Written and Individual events.
- Rishi Marri secured 7th place in the Individual event.
The competition was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team. Congratulations to Shawn Ruan, Rishi Marri, Rishi Gundubogula, and Divesh Sathish, who have advanced to the State MATHCOUNTS Competition, taking place this March in Harrisburg.
