DASD Seniors Earn Associate Degrees Before High School Graduation

Graduation season is just around the corner at DASD, and several seniors are already celebrating an impressive academic milestone through the Dual Enrollment program. These students are earning associate degrees before receiving their high school diplomas.

DASD Dual Enrollment Students

The following students are participating in DASD’s Dual Enrollment program and are graduating with associate degrees earned while in high school:

Two of these students, Marcella Ballisty and Thatcher Respicio, were recently featured in a CBS3 story highlighting their accomplishments at Delaware County Community College and the impact of DASD’s Dual Enrollment program.

About Dual Enrollment

DASD’s Dual Enrollment program allows juniors and seniors to concurrently enroll in a college level course at a reduced cost. Students participating in dual enrollment coursework simultaneously receive high school credit at AP weight and college credit.
