DASD Robotics Teams Qualify for VEX Robotics World Championship

Students from Uwchlan Hills Elementary School, Pickering Valley Elementary School, Marsh Creek Sixth Grade Center, and Lionville Middle School showcased their engineering and problem-solving skills at the Eastern Pennsylvania State VEX IQ Championship, earning multiple top awards and securing invitations to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX.
 
Elementary School Division
Team Wired Warriors had a great performance, winning the Excellence Award, #1 in Teamwork Challenge, and #1 in Robot Skills, which guarantees their participation at Worlds. With 14 awards this season, they are ranked #90 globally, #15 in the USA, and #1 in Pennsylvania.

Middle School Division
Team STEM Sisters stood out in the middle school division, winning the Teamwork Challenge Award and placing #2 in Robot Skills, earning them a place at Worlds. With 10 awards this season, they are ranked #141 globally, #62 in the USA, and #2 in Pennsylvania.

The VEX IQ Robotics Competition encourages students to design, build, and program robots, helping them develop essential problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. These young innovators are preparing to represent DASD on the world stage at the VEX Robotics World Championship in May.
