Downingtown Area School District is proud to announce that school bus driver Michelle Colket from Wolfington won the Chester County School Bus Safety Competition on April 29 at Marsh Creek Sixth Grade Center. She will advance to the state contest at Penn State in June.
The competition, now in its 42nd year, saw nearly 90 drivers from across the region take part in various challenges that tested their driving skills. The DASD team of drivers also took first place in the overall competition.
The achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of DASD drivers in ensuring the safety of students during their daily commutes.
Congratulations to the entire DASD transportation team on these outstanding performances in the competition and best of luck to Michelle in the upcoming state competition at Penn State!
