Springton Manor, East Ward, and Lionville Elementary Schools recently welcomed Jonathan Stutzman and Heather Fox, the talented author-illustrator duo from Lititz, PA. Known for their children's books, the duo captivated students with their stories, creativity, and artistic flair.
During their visit, Jonathan and Heather read Llama Destroys the World, one of their most popular titles. The engaging read-aloud had students laughing and interacting while sparking excitement about storytelling. They also shared insights into their creative journey, discussing how they collaborate to bring characters and stories to life.
A highlight of the visit was a hands-on drawing session, where students learned how to sketch the famous Llama character. Jonathan and Heather worked together on the Llama Destroys the World trilogy and the Fitz and Cleo series, while Jonathan is also the author of the Tiny T. Rex series. Throughout the visit, they encouraged students to embrace their creativity and explore their own storytelling potential.
