Renee Hansberger

Mrs. Hansberger is the Long Term Substitute for Ms. Taylor, General Music 7/8.

Mrs. Hansberger has been a music teacher since 2001. She taught 7th-9th grade band and 8th grade general music in William Penn School District. From 2002-2010, Mrs. Hansberger taught 4th and 5th grade band and led the after school drama club at Pickering Valley, Springton Manor, and Lionville Elementary Schools. In 2010, Mrs. Hansberger resigned from DASD to stay home with her young children. During this time, she held several part-time music and drama teaching jobs, including teaching acting and musical theatre classes at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. Mrs. Hansberger is thrilled to return to full-time teaching in DASD as the general music long-term substitute at Lionville Middle School and Downingtown Middle School. Mrs. Hansberger received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree, with a minor in theatre, from Bucknell University in 2001. In 2005, she received her Master of Music in Music Education degree, with a concentration in oboe performance, from West Chester University.
