The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has launched the statewide anonymous reporting system called "Safe2Say Something" (S2SS). This is a state-wide initiative that will allow students and adults to submit anonymous tips about concerns they have that someone they know might be at risk of hurting themselves or others. The S2SS program originated under the Sandy Hook Promise, a national non-profit violence prevention organization.
The S2SS system will provide three methods for students or adults to report anonymous safety tips or concerns:
- S2SS app: available for Apple and Android devices starting January 14, 2019
- Website: www.safe2saypa.org/tip
- S2SS Crisis Tip Line (24 hours a day): 1-844-SAF2SAY
While we continue to encourage students to tell a trusted adult about any concerns, the new and existing anonymous tip lines provide additional options for reporting concerns.
