Math Counts is a national competition that helps build confidence and improve attitudes about math and problem solving. Students will also be able to enhance their love of math. Finally, participation in this club will give students practice and experience in the competition format. The final competition usually takes place in March (date and location TBD).
Math Counts Club will meet every Monday from 3:30-4:30PM in the library beginning September 9th. Students must make arrangements with a parent or guardian to be picked up promptly at 4:30PM or must have a bus pass to ride the activity bus.
Depending on the number of students who join the club, not all students may be able to compete in the competition. However, they are all welcome to attend the meetings and practices.
