BS - Kinesiology with a K-12 HPE Certification
Mr. Cruice earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, with a focus of K-12 Health and Physical Education, from West Chester University in 2013. Mr. Cruice also earned Minors in Coaching and Health Sciences. He began his teaching career in Haverford School District as a Long Term Health Education Substitute at the secondary level. Mr. Cruice received a part time Health and Physical Education teaching position, in the Downingtown Area School District, at West Bradford Elementary School in 2016. He was then promoted and moved to Bradford Heights full time in 2017. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Effective Teaching at Wilkes University.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Cruice enjoys staying active through fitness and sports. He played Basketball, Football and Soccer throughout High School in the West Chester Area School District. After graduating from West Chester University, Mr. Cruice started coaching Basketball for several years. He coached the 7th grade Girls Basketball team at Stetson Middle School from 2012-2015. He then coached the Freshmen Boys Basketball Team at Phoenixville High School in 2015. Mr. Cruice enjoys teaching students about the importance of eating healthy and staying physically active. He wants his students to recognize and understand how to be life long healthy individuals!
