Jocelyn Long

Miss Long is a technology and engineering teacher at the STEM Academy. Her educational background includes architectural training at Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Minnesota. Her technology education training includes the University of Wisconsin Stout and Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She also spent two years serving with AmeriCorp in South-central Pennsylvania.

Miss Long graduated from Millersville with a BS in Technology Education and comes to the Downingtown STEM Academy from LancasterCounty where she taught 6th grade technology education. She is an active member of the Technology and Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania (TEEAP) and the International Technology and Engineering Education Association (ITEEA).

She holds a Masters in Technology Education from California University of Pennsylvania and is the advisor for Technology Student Association (TSA) and yearbook at the Academy.

Away from school, Miss Long spends time with family and friends in both Pennsylvania and Minnesota, gardening on her third-floor apartment balcony and quilting.
