Christine Dinger

Christine Dinger has been teaching Physics and Chemistry at the Downingtown STEM Academy since the school opened in 2011. Prior to coming to STEM, Mrs. Dinger taught a 9th grade introductory physics course and a 10th grade chemistry course at Haverford High School. Some of her favorite experiences while teaching include coaching Academic Competition and Science Olympiad Teams, coordinating the Science Fair Club, and participating in Classrooms for the Future, 9th Grade Academy, Faculty Advisory Council, and the Homework Committee.

Mrs. Dinger earned a Master of Integrated Science Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and worked for the Penn Science Teacher Institute as a Thesis/Portfolio Reviewer and a Teachers Assistant. She is a professional writer of science curriculum and has made multiple presentations on science education around the country.

A graduate of West Chester University with a B.S.E.D – Chemistry, Mrs. Dinger loves Chester County and is excited to teach in Downingtown! She enjoys running, gardening, and walking her dog.
