Mrs. Purse has been a teacher in the Downingtown Area School District since August 2006.  She is a 2001 graduate of Downingtown High School.  Mrs. Purse graduated from West Chester University in December 2005 with a degree in Special Education.  She spent 5 years teaching Autistic Support at Downingtown Middle School before transferring to Downingtown East.  Mrs. Purse graduated from Immaculata University with a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2013.  She is currently working towards her Principal Certification through Immaculata University.
