Mrs. Connie L. Dyer

Connie Dyer is a French teacher at Downingtown High School East. She graduated from West Chester University in 1995 with a B.S. Ed in French. She continued her French studies at Millersville University.  Before joining DASD, she taught French at Lancaster Catholic High School where she took students abroad on trips to France and Belgium. After returning from raising her two daughter, she taught both middle school and high school French and English at Coatesville area school district for 6 years. Presently, she has taught the last two years at Downingtown East,  French levels I, II and IV. She has just completed the first French Exchange with Montalambert High School outside of Paris which provides a unique opportunity for French students from East to live with a French family and to attend a French high school over spring break.

Other activities she enjoys are running, yoga and coaching youth basketball teams.
