Mrs. Meg Bauer
Mrs. Meg Bauer graduated in May 2007 from the Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In December 2012, she completed her Masters in Literacy from West Chester University and received her Reading Specialist Certification. She has experience teaching in the Colonial and Upper Merion Area School Districts in Elementary K-2 classrooms. She began teaching in Downingtown in 2009 where she spent eight years in kindergarten before making a big jump to fourth grade. She has also served as a technology innovator, kindergarten grade level leader, and building leader. Currently, Mrs. Bauer serves as DASD's Fourth Grade District Level Leader for ELA and is Beaver Creek's Fourth Grade Building Leader.
Outside of school, Mrs. Bauer resides in West Chester with her husband and two children. Together they enjoy traveling to the Outer Banks and Maryland, playing sports, and being at their swim club in the summertime. Meg is passionate about being a life-long learner and has a strong desire to help her students succeed.
