Mr. Bob Carpency

Mr. Carpency is a graduate of West Chester University and holds Bachelor degrees in Music Education and Music Performance and a Master's degree in Music Performance. He is certified as an Instructional Technology Specialist and earned a Master of Education degree, focused in Instructional Technology, from Wilkes University. Continuing his educational journey, he is currently working towards his doctorate in Educational Leadership through Neumann University. This is Mr. Carpency's 12th year teaching 4th and 5th Grade Band to students at Pickering Valley and Lionville Elementary Schools. He also serves the district as the K-12 Music Curriculum Leader and Tech Innovator. 

Outside of school, Mr. Carpency plays flute and performs regularly with the Liberty Wind Symphony, Chester County Concert Band, SALT Performing Arts, and several other community music ensembles. He also enjoys watching college basketball and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
