Ms. Donna Lee Lawson Jackson
Ms. Jackson has been teaching in the Downingtown Area School District since January 1995 as a Health and Physical Educator and here at Downingtown Middle School since the school opened in 1997. Promoting concepts of lifelong health and fitness, safety and injury prevention, physical activity and principles of movement, placing emphasis on communication, character education, decision making and conflict resolution skills along with social emotional health to middle school students is the challenge she most enjoys.

West Chester University of Pennsylvania, West Chester, PA - Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education; Minor in Recreation, 1980.
Immaculata University, Immaculata, PA - Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2000.
Newmann University, Aston, PA - Master of Science in Education-Social Emotional Learning, 2013.
Ms. Jackson enjoys working with her students after school as a Track and Field Coach and a Ski Club Chaperone for DMS Ski Club since 1995. She is also involved in the Student Assistance Program as a team member. Hobbies and interests include family time with her two daughters, traveling, swimming, kayaking, scuba & snorkeling, hiking, horseback riding, biking, and outdoor adventure activities.
