Ms. Kellie Dunn
Kellie Dunn is currently a 7th grade Writing teacher at Downingtown Middle School and has been with the district since 2001. Prior to coming to Downingtown, Ms. Dunn held teaching positions at the middle school level within the Archdioceses of Philadelphia as well as public schools in Littleton, Colorado and Boston, Massachusetts.
During her tenure at DMS, she has held several leadership roles. Kellie served as the Curriculum Leader for the Communications Department. She currently is team 7A Team Leader and the Building Leader for the ELA Department. Ms. Dunn has also had the opportunity to collaborate on curriculum writing, participated on a district wide Writing Task Force, created and launched innovative live events learningexperience to Boston, MA. And spearheaded the creation and implementation of the current Anti-Bullying program used during our REACH period.
Ms. Dunn received her undergraduate degree from Rosemont College in 1993 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Educational Leader in 2007 and has recently gotten her Principal’s Certificate from Immaculata University. She is currently enrolled in their Doctorate program in Educational Leadership.
