DMS SPORTS:

Spring Sports

It's time to start thinking about Spring Sports!  DMS offers Girls' Lacrosse, Boys' Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball and Track and Field during the spring season.  

The following is information you need to have and consider as tryouts approach: 

Check out the DMS Athletics page for specific information (Informational Meeting Dates and Tryout Dates) for each sport. 

•  Students may not tryout without a fully completed packet of the district's athletic forms. The packet is available on the DMS Athletics Page. 

• ​Students who had a fall or winter physical must print and complete (with parent signatures) a recertification form prior to tryouts and do not require an additional physical.  Physical forms for first time physicals may also be downloaded from the DMS website.  Be sure to have all required signatures in the proper place. 

You may choose to have your own doctor complete the required forms.  This must be done prior to tryouts! Physicals must be dated after June 1, 2018.  No player can tryout/participate without turning in their forms.  

***All athletes trying out for a winter sport must turn in either the recertification paperwork or your full physical to Dr. Farrell in the Main Office by March 2nd to avoid last minute complications.

An option for Winter Physicals are scheduled for February 11th starting at 2:45 pm at West High School. 

They will be held in the nurse's office.  

​Brandywine Village Family Medicine will be conducting our physicals. The price per physical is $25.00.  **CASH IS THE PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT.** Checks should be made payable to: Dr. Bruce Colley.
