BA-History from West Virginia University

Mr. Michael Taraborrelli

A West Chester native, Mr. Taraborrelli lived a hard knock life in the run down streets of East Goshen. He was part of a bicycle gang at the young age of 4, "The Terrors on Three Wheels." The skills learned during those years led him to become the teacher that he is today. After high school, Mr. Taraborrelli joined the United States Marine Corps. He was enlisted in the reserves throughout his tenure in college, the West Virginia University. After receiving his undergraduate degree in History, Mr. Taraborrelli came home to begin his teaching career. His teaching method models the ideals of John Dewey. He is a firm believer in learning by doing. He has been inspiring his students to never settle for less than their best. He hates email and prefers talking to people one to one, over the phone. In his spare time, Mr. Taraborrelli can be found hunting, fishing, or sitting in an emergency room getting his face stitched up from a men's league hockey injury. He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree and is scheduled to recieve it in May of 2015.
