Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will my child be in front of a screen all day?
A: No. i-Ready Classroom is built around classroom discussions, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration. Technology is used sparingly and intentionally. Students are encouraged to complete 30-49 minutes on MyPath each week. This may take place during small group instruction, MTSS, or other opportunities throughout the school day.

Q: How are students assessed?
A: Students take the i-Ready Diagnostic three times per year and are also assessed through classwork, mathematical discourse, common assessments, and teacher observations.

Q: What if my child needs extra help?
A: Teachers use data from the program to provide support during small-group instruction and intervention blocks.
