Full-Day Kindergarten Program

DASD welcomed Full-Day Kindergarten at all 10 elementary schools in August 2025.
By adding full-day kindergarten at all elementary schools, our youngest learners will receive expanded learning opportunities, which include dedicated time to develop academic, physical, social and emotional skills.
A Day In the Life of a DASD Kindergartner

The day will begin with morning meeting. Core subject educational periods will be spaced throughout the day, with encore, recess, and lunch providing breaks in between.
