Student Teacher Placements
Placement Requests
In order to meet the needs of the many Universities and Colleges with whom we partner, student teacher placement requests must be sent to the Assistant Superintendent's Office, Operations and Programs as follows:
For Spring placements - September 12th through November 14th
For Fall placements - February 21st through May 16th
Student Teacher Placement Coordinators
The college or university Student Teacher Placement Coordinators must submit the following materials in order for candidates to be considered:
- A written request for placement noting the dates and specific grade level and/or subject area(s) for placement
- An unofficial transcript of all college/university coursework
- Clearances of Act 34 Criminal History, Act 114 FBI Fingerprint, and Act 151 PA Child Abuse
- Evidence of a TB negative test result

All materials must be sent in one complete packet in email with secured links or via USPS. Please direct student teacher placement requests and materials to:

Submission of materials for student teaching does not guarantee a placement. Confirmation will be sent to the University Placement Coordinator with student teaching placement information. Please be patient while students' materials are processed for consideration as we do receive a high volume of requests.
Field Placements for Observation
Universities/Colleges seeking Field Placements for observation should inquire directly with the School Principals.
