Free & Reduced Priced Meals

DASD has made it faster and easier
for parents to apply for free and reduced meals.

When students start the day with a healthy breakfast and lunch, they’re ready to learn, stay focused, and feel confident. Millions of families qualify for free or reduced-price meals each year, and applying is quick, private, and judgment-free.  Your family may qualify for free or reduced-price school meals. Unless your child has been directly certified by the state, a new application must be submitted each school year. Even if you receive SNAP benefits, coverage may change starting October 1. Don’t miss out.

 Applications are available online!

This free service enables families to receive program benefits faster than using a paper application. Your application is electronically submitted directly to the child nutrition office for processing.  Please use the link below to access the online application.  The application can be completed in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic by selecting the language preference from the dropdown in the upper right corner of the application home page.
