The event, created by the DASD DEI Department, provided attendees with a unique opportunity to witness Peter Stern's extraordinary story of survival and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and minds.

Peter Stern's journey commenced in Nuremberg, Germany, in March 1936, before taking a dramatic turn in 1941 when his family was forcibly displaced from their home. Their odyssey led them through a harrowing series of trials, including a holding camp in Latvia, the Riga ghetto, and a grueling work camp in Russia.
