- Achievements
The Downingtown Area School District Communications Department has earned three honors in the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association’s (PenSPRA) 2025 Excellence in Education Communications Contest.
More than 280 entries from school districts and education organizations across Pennsylvania were submitted for this year’s contest, which recognizes excellence in school communications across a variety of categories. The DASD Communications team received one Award of Excellence, one Award of Merit, and one Honorable Mention for video projects that highlight the voices and experiences of students and staff throughout the district.
The DASD Communications Department is led by Director of Communications Jennifer Shealy and Communications Manager Danielle Sabulsky, who collaborate with students, staff, and the community to share stories that reflect the district’s spirit and daily work.
