The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania created the EITC (Educational Income Tax Credit) Program to stimulate giving to innovative educational organizations. Qualified businesses can earn significant tax credits equal to 75% – 90% of its contributions to approved Educational Improvement Organizations.

Last year over $43,000 was donated by local businesses - First Resource Bank, Fulton Bank, Meridian Bank, Mid Penn Bank, S&T Bank and Univest Bank & Trust.

BullDCEF wants to build connections for student success. Together we can help kids define who they are, what they become and why they are important.  We can empower them with the resources and support to overcome challenges and be successful in the world and beyond.

Here are just a few programs that we would welcome the opportunity for partnership and support!

Mobile Book Club - sponsor books so students can meet authors and continue to read over the summer preventing loss of reading skills

Kindergarten JumpStart - support our "new to school" learners. Prepare them for success in their school career. Sponsor a visiting team to make a home visit to build positive relationships between the school and families.

BRIDGE (Building Relationships In DASD to Grow Education) - be a part of this exciting new program for K-5th graders in our Title 1 schools.

Camp Narwhal - brings together a cohort of 50 students from all 10 DASD elementary schools for a two-week camp reinforcing academic skills while easing the transition both between elementary school and the Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center.
