Stacy Tukloff-Vansant

Stacy Tukloff-Vansant (Mrs. T-V), is a German teacher at Downingtown Middle School.  Stacy attended Fresno State University in Fresno, California where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in German and Spanish, and completed the Teacher Certification Program.  During her time at Fresno State, Stacy also studied abroad at the Westfaelische Wilhelms Universitaet in Muenster, Germany, and the University of Guanajuato in Mexico. Prior to this role, Stacy helped develop the Second Language Acquisition Department at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California. After returning home to Chester County in 1997, Stacy taught ESL, Intro to French, German, Intro to Latin and Spanish at various local school districts. Her students have ranged from the elementary level through high school age. Stacy has worked with Color Guard at the high school band level, coached lacrosse, soccer and swimming, worked as a Class Advisor for Student Government, and currently runs the TV Studio Club at DMS.

Stacy loves education and followed in the footsteps of her parents. Ron Tukloff taught math in the West Chester Area School District and retired after several years as the Athletic Director at Henderson High School. Joan Tukloff taught history for 36 years at Coatesville Area Senior High School. Stacy had the opportunity to study in Muenster, Germany and the cities of Cuernavaca and Guanajuato in Mexico.

Family time is a number one priority in Stacy’s life. Everyone enjoys participating in and watching sporting events. Favorite travel destinations include Disneyworld, Ocean City, New Jersey and Surfside Beach, South Carolina. In addition to the beach, Stacy and her daughter Sommer love to camp both with cousins and the Girl Scouts.
