Rena works with students and families in the district by helping them access behavioral health resources in the community. She is another resource in the school for students who are experiencing mental health needs. Rena began her professional career working as an adoption case worker for Chester County Children, Youth and Families. She transitioned to a mental health agency for children in Chester County, working as a blended case manager and psychiatric assistant. Rena then expended her professional experience and began working with homeless Veterans. Rena attended Millersville University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She continued her education at West Chester University and received a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She currently holds a License in Social Work.
Rena has strong ties to the Downingtown community and her “blue and gold pride” runs deep. She was born and raised in Downingtown and is a current resident. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to working with the students, staff and community members in the district.
