    Transition Plan Results

    • The Superintendent will address any specific results the Board deems worthy.

    Student Growth and Achievement

    • The Superintendent will develop a process for addressing student performance issues in alignment with the District’s comprehensive plan.
    • The Superintendent will use multiple data sources to assess student success and growth as appropriate, specific to needs within the District, and as determined annually in collaboration with the Board.
    • The Superintendent shall establish an effective benchmarking system aimed at improved student achievement.
    • The Superintendent shall create a multi-year plan for implementation on the PA core academic standards.

    Organizational Leadership

    • The Superintendent shall work collaboratively with the Board to carry out the vision for the District.
    • The Superintendent shall display an ability to identify and rectify problems impacting the District.
    • The Superintendent shall work collaboratively with the District Administration to establish best practices for instruction, supervision, curriculum, development, and management.
    • The Superintendent shall work to influence the climate and culture of the District through attendance at various activities.
    • The Superintendent shall be mindful of the need to continue to develop administrative leadership from within the organization and shall assure appropriate succession planning, where possible, for cabinet level and building leadership positions so that the District will be continually able to handle transitions as seamlessly as possible.

    Student Population Growth and Construction Needs  

    • The Superintendent shall lead the District’s efforts to address student population growth.
    • The Superintendent shall work toward the implementation of anticipated building projects, providing effective oversight, focus, communication, and community engagement.

    Communication and Community Relations

    • The Superintendent shall communicate with and effectively engage the staff, and the Board in any of the following areas appropriate to the 2018-2019 academic year: Articulating District goals and priorities; addressing local and broader issues impacting the District; and building support for District initiatives, programs, and short/long-range plans.
    • The Superintendent shall communicate with and effectively engage the community in any of the following areas appropriate to the 2019-2020 academic year: Articulating District goals and priorities; addressing local and broader issues impacting the District; and building support for District initiatives, programs, and short/long-range plans.

    Annual Goals for School Year 2019 – 2020

    • Directly and specifically increase communication with administrators and teachers as related to curriculum, instruction, technology and change.
    • Create a comprehensive plan for expected student growth and designate how the district should meet the facilities needs over the next 5-10 years
