Diane Boff is the Assistant Director of Academics. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Millersville University and a M. Ed. from York College of Pennsylvania. After teaching students in grades 1-3 for nine years, Diane served as an Instructional Support Teacher for 10 years at Dallastown Area School District in York County. She then served as an Assistant Principal for three years within the same district. Diane’s career took her to Solanco School District in Lancaster County, where she was the Principal at Providence Elementary. During her 4 years there, she worked to have the state approve their application for using the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) for SDL determination. In 2014, Diane joined DASD as Principal of Springton Manor Elementary. She shared her in-depth knowledge of RtII and her passion for instruction with the students, staff and families of SM for 4 years before moving to the district office.
Diane currently lives in Lancaster, PA. When not at work, her hobbies include running, spending time outdoors, and visiting her daughters in S.C. and CO. Diane prides herself on being dedicated to the education of ALL students and academic excellence.
