• The DMS Guidance Department is committed to helping students attain their full academic potential, foster responsible independence and develop a sense of self-worth as they strive to identify and clarify personal values and goals, through a supportive relationship with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
    A child's school success is largely dependent on his/her sense of self-worth.  Guidance is geared to helping students, teachers and parents have a successful middle school experience. The Guidance Department focuses on:
