Girl Scouting is very active at Bradford Heights. We have at least 1 troop in every grade at the school. Each troop is composed of girls in the same grade level, a leader, an assistant leader, and parent volunteers that rotate to help out. Meetings are usually held 1-2 times a month, either right after school or in the evening, depending on the leaders' schedule.
With Girl Scouts, each day is a new adventure. Most troops also go on trips, hikes, camping adventures, attend local programming and also participate in the Downingtown Girl Scout Service Unit's programs right here in our hometown like the Gal/Pal dance (girl and father figures,) International Fair, and the Holiday Parade to name a few. Start the fun now and contact Bradford Height's Girl Scout school coordinator, Sharon Plichta -- she can put you in touch with the appropriate troop for you daughter.
