Mr. DelGaizo is President and CEO of Main Line Engineering Associates, a small business engineering firm providing mechanical, nuclear, structural, electrical, and controls design and engineering to operating nuclear - generating stations and industrial faci lities world - wide. He has forty - five years of experience in nuclear - power engineering, including operations, design, licensing, modification, management and quality assurance. He is a registered professional engineer (nuclear) in the Commonwealth of Penn sylvania and is a licensed attorney and member of the Pennsylvania bar. Mr. DelGaizo spent 14 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force including duty as submarine Executive Officer, Chief Engineer Officer, and Chief Squadron Engineer Officer. His Navy career included service in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam War and in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans during the Cold War. As a licensed professional engineer, he worked for a major architect - engineer firm and small - business engineering firms, a nd has been a consultant to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He was a member of the emergency - response team at the Three Mile Island plant following the 1979 reactor accident. He has also served as an expert consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at a nuclear plant in Cernavoda, Romania and has testified as an expert witness in both Federal and state courts. Mr. DelGaizo received his BS in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, graduating with distinction and a major in ma thematics in 1963. He received his JD from the Temple University School of Law, graduating magna - cum - laude in 1983. He lives in Downingtown PA with his wife of 45 years. The DelGaizo’s have two children and two grandchildren, all of whom reside in south eastern Pennsylvania.
