Mrs. Cole is driven by a passion for student success and seeks to engage stakeholders in thoughtful communication, advocacy, and establish partnerships which bolster the STEM Academy's collaborative vision.  Her diverse teaching and learning experiences span across the state of Pennsylvania, but her roots grow from Chester County.  After graduating from Great Valley H.S., Mrs. Cole attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA as a scholar athlete earning her B.A. in History/Pre-Law with a Spanish minor in 2003.  She expanded her undergraduate experience by studying Spanish language and history at Universidad Internacional in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Acknowledging her desire to work in the field of education prompted Mrs. Cole to attend West Chester University where she earned her MEd. in Professional and Secondary Education in 2006.  She has since become a Pennsylvania Writing and Literature Project Fellow & Teacher Consultant.  In 2005 Mrs. Cole secured a Social Studies teaching position with the Springfield School District in Delaware County, PA, serving as a high school educator and Department Manager for nine years before moving into the Dean of Students role at E.T. Richardson M.S. She earned her Principal Certification from Drexel University in 2015.

With great enthusiasm Mrs. Cole joined the administrative team at the Downingtown STEM Academy in 2017 and looks forward to helping extraordinary students do extraordinary things!
