Rachel Slater is a 7th and 8th grade Reading Specialist.  Mrs. Slater has been a teacher at Downingtown Middle School since 2010.  She is a graduate of Millersville Univeristy where she earned he Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Educaiton and Special Education.  She has a master's degree from Wilkes Univeristy in Educational Development.  When she is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her two boys, gardening, cooking and crafting.
