Andrew Hoffert was named Interim Principal of Bradford Heights Elementary in December of 2014, and approved by the board in May of 2015 to remain in the position full time. He previously served the Downingtown Area School District as the Assistant Director of Pupil Services, overseeing Special Education Services at the secondary level.
Mr. Hoffert began his career as an Elementary Learning Support Teacher in the Wyomissing Area School District, followed by 8 years of teaching experience at the high school level at both Wyomissing and Blue Mountain Area School Districts. In addition to teaching, he served as head coach for both the Girls and Boys Varsity Volleyball Teams. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Penn State, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lehigh University, his Special Education Supervisory Certification from Millersville University, and his Principal Certification from Penn State Great Valley. He is currently enrolled in a Doctoral Program at Drexel University.
Mr. Hoffert lives in Berks County with his wife Erika, and three children – Jakob, Norah, and Wesley.
