Announcements

  • Course Selection Evening will be held at Downingtown East on Tuesday, February 7th from 7pm to 9pm beginning in the Auditorium and ending in the Cafeteria. This program will provide informaiton about courses for next year for students in grades 8th through 11th. Students and parents will be given the opportunity to speak with administrators, teachers, and counselors about the course selection process.

  • Princess Breakfast! The students and parents of the Downingtown East Theatre Department are getting ready to present the Princess Breakfast 2017 fundraiser on Saturday, January 21st at 8am and 10:30AM. Just like last year, it will feature a dozen students playing familiar princesses, greeting kids, signing autographs, posing for pictures, singing songs and encouraging the consumption of breakfast pastries and sausages. There will be coffee for the adults also! Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, January 7th, 9am at downingtowneasttheatre.com.

Graduation Announcements

  • ATTENTION SENIORS!  There will be a representative from Herff Jones to measure and order cap and gowns for graduation during all lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 24th & 25th. Please bring your check, cash or money order in the amount of $15.35. Please be on the look-out for the letter from Herff Jones with all the details for ordering caps and gowns. Packets to order grad announcements, etc. will be given out in homerooms on Wednesday and Thursday, January 11th & 12th.

  • ATTENTION SENIORS…….the Cecil Tate Scholarship has been added to Naviance under the Scholarship tab. This scholarship is for special education seniors enrolled in either IU or district-run classes. The deadline is March 17th. Check the Scholarship tab frequently for new additions!
